Border Police officers arrested about 460 illegal residents across Israel during the past week, along with dozens of suspects who allegedly helped with their infiltration. This was reported by the police, who added that during operations in the Jerusalem area, about 248 illegal residents and 33 more suspects in aiding illegal residents were arrested. In the south of the country, 86 illegal residents and 10 facilitators were arrested, and in the northern, coastal, central sectors and in the seam zone with the West Bank, 124 illegal residents were caught and 17 additional suspects were arrested. Additionally, in an unusual incident on Saturday, two illegal residents were arrested at Tel Aviv University with one of them holding a student access card.
