President Isaac Herzog toured the site where an Iranian missile struck Beit Shemesh, killing nine people. Herzog said: "Nine pure and innocent souls were killed, innocent and blameless people who ran to a shelter, entered a proper shelter and acted according to instructions, and unfortunately, because the missile fell directly on the shelter's roof, the synagogue above it was obliterated. We see here a very severe disaster scene. This shows exactly who we are dealing with and what a bitter and cruel enemy we have."
