U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the riots in Los Angeles protesting migrant deportations, writing on his Truth Social platform that "Los Angeles, once a great American city, has been invaded by illegal immigrants and criminals who have seized it. Now, an angry, violent, and rebellious mob is attacking federal agents and trying to stop the deportation of migrants - but this mob only strengthens our determination to act. I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristy Noem, Defense Secretary Pete Hagerty, and Attorney General Pam Bondi to work together to liberate Los Angeles."
