Alex Witkoff, son of U.S. Middle East special envoy Steve Witkoff, addressed the proof of life from hostage Evyatar David and wrote on his X account that "he was a young, healthy and brilliant person. Now, after 665 days - starved and held captive by Hamas - he is barely recognizable." He added: "Evyatar's fragile body and hollow eyes remind of disturbing images of Jews in Nazi concentration camps. Bring them home now."
