The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment at the Lod District Court against Inbar Kachalon, 36, from Moshav Porat, for negligent homicide of Amos Guetta, hit-and-run, drunk driving and deviating from a traffic lane. According to the indictment, about two weeks ago, Kachalon drove home in the evening hours while under the influence of alcohol at three times the legal limit. As she approached the entrance to the moshav, she swerved right and struck Guetta, 48, a resident of the moshav who was walking on the roadside. As a result of the accident, Amos was pronounced dead at the scene. After the collision, Kachalon continued driving without calling for help.
