Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi responded to the Supreme Court's decision regarding the dismissal of the Attorney General, saying that "any Supreme Court decision without explicit legal authority will not take effect before anchoring that authority in Knesset legislation. I call on the Justice Minister to bring the dismissal of the 'political advisor to the government' this coming Sunday and simultaneously appoint a new Attorney General immediately. We must obey the law, not decisions pulled out of thin air. We will not allow the deep state to steal power from the people."
