US: House of Representatives approves $3.3 billion security aid for Israel

|
The US House of Representatives has approved the 2026 security and foreign relations budget proposal, which includes $3.3 billion in security assistance for Israel, along with a series of additional pro-Israel provisions. The proposal includes a complete ban on funding UNRWA, as well as a prohibition on transferring funds to the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice and the UN Commission of Inquiry regarding Israel. In addition, a clause is included that freezes 15% of US mandatory payments to the UN and international organizations until they report on transparency and oversight measures, including addressing anti-Israel bias.
