Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar addressed the hostage return outline that U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to present, writing on his X account that "if there's a chance to free hostages - it should be done and this is the absolute will of the majority of the people in Israel. We must act according to national interests and not according to political pressures and threats."
