Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has appointed Abd al-Rahim Mousavi as the chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards ground forces Mohammad Pakpour as the commander of the Revolutionary Guards and Ali Shadmani as the commander of the Central Staff of the Iranian army.
