Police arrested a council member from one of the local authorities in the Negev and his brother on suspicion of involvement in assaulting a female relative. The brother's detention was extended in court, and tomorrow the council member will be brought before the Be'er Sheva Magistrate's Court for a hearing regarding the extension of his detention.
