Israel Border Police undercover unit, with precise guidance from Shin Bet, operated in the village of Tubas in Samaria and arrested the head of a local terror cell along with another senior wanted suspect. According to a joint statement by police and Shin Bet, the two carried out terror attacks, assisted in weapons procurement, and planned additional attacks. The undercover forces secretly reached the suspects' hideout apartment, sealed it in a 'pressure cooker' procedure, and arrested the militants. Six M-16 rifles, a pistol, magazines, three tactical vests, four fragmentation grenades, pipe bombs, and gas cylinders ready for activation were seized at the location.
