Following the withdrawal of Hadash candidate Jaafar Farah from the list amid testimonies against him regarding sexual harassment, Eilabun council head Samir Abu Zeid is the only candidate running for the second spot on the list in his place. The council will convene tomorrow to approve his candidacy. Farah's resignation has not yet been submitted in writing, but he has informed senior officials of his decision.
