Israeli security official: 'Hezbollah drills intended for attack. We won't allow their rehabilitation'

|
Amid strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, a senior Israeli security official told the Saudi channel "Al-Hadath" that "the recent drills on the northern front were designed to implement defense and transition to offense. The strikes in Lebanon are intended to prevent Hezbollah's military reorganization. We will not allow the rehabilitation of Hezbollah's military infrastructure." According to him, "We are operating within a coordination mechanism and cooperating with Washington, UNIFIL and the Lebanese army. We are directly addressing any immediate threat within Lebanon."
