US President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social network that "Defense Secretary (War!) Pete Hegseth, along with military representatives, will hold a press conference tomorrow at the Pentagon - with the aim of fighting for the honor of our wonderful American pilots." The President noted that the press conference will take place at 8:00 AM (3:00 PM Israel time) and added: "These patriots are very angry! After 36 hours of dangerous flight over enemy territory, they landed, they knew the success was h-u-g-e, and then, two days later, they started reading fake news." Trump accused CNN and the "New York Times" of false reporting and added that the press conference would be "interesting" and "irrefutable."
