President Isaac Herzog delivered remarks at the state memorial ceremony on Mount Herzl marking three years since the October 7 massacre. The president said that "all of these obligate us to investigate with determination and courage, without bias, and to understand – how did this happen to us? No passage of time allows us to blur this obligation. There are clear conclusions that we already know we must internalize: we must not ignore warnings, concerning signs. And we must also look directly at what is happening to us inside the house, internally. In these days, in the midst of the election campaign, we must observe and watch the flashing warning lights, those that signal dangerous disputes and deep division."
