The Central Elections Committee announced that at 1:00 AM, the counting of double-envelope ballots began, while the processing of regular ballot box results continues in parallel. As of 1:00 AM, results from 11,712 ballot boxes have been received. As part of the double-envelope ballot counting process, the inner voting envelopes are removed from the outer envelopes and mixed together to sever the connection between the voter's details and their vote, thus preserving voting secrecy. They are then transferred for counting at the counting facility in the Knesset parking lot.
