Afghanistan: 800 killed in deadly earthquake in east of country

Taliban authorities in Afghanistan updated that at least 800 people were killed and at least 1,500 were injured in the earthquake that struck the eastern part of the country, near the border with Pakistan. The authorities announced that they have launched a large-scale rescue operation, and according to them, entire villages were destroyed in the powerful quake.
