The Foreign Ministry announced that Israelis who were stranded in the city of Lalibela in the combat zone in Ethiopia have been evacuated. A statement from the ministry said, "Following intensive efforts over the past three days, the group of Israelis stranded in Lalibela in northern Ethiopia was evacuated yesterday and today in a helicopter rescue, against the backdrop of the security escalation in the area. Helicopters transferred the group to a safe area, from where they will continue to Addis Ababa."
