Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the opening of the political-security cabinet meeting that under his directive and that of Defense Minister Israel Katz, the IDF is "deepening our operation in Lebanon." According to him, "The IDF is operating with large forces on the ground and seizing commanding positions. We are fortifying the security zone to protect the northern communities. At the same time, we are conducting a massive national effort to promote creative and innovative solutions against explosive drones."
