Police request Aurich be barred from PM's office for 30 days, new suspicion: wore uniform without authorization

|
As part of the "Qatar-gate" investigation, police have asked the court to bar Jonathan Aurich from the Prime Minister's Office for an additional 30 days. Following ynet's revelation that Aurich was documented wearing IDF uniform at the Kirya in Tel Aviv at the beginning of the "Iron Swords" war, the police request mentioned an additional suspicion of "wearing uniform without authorization" - an offense under the Military Justice Law. Aurich's attorneys, Amit Hadad and Noa Milstein, stated on his behalf: "The attempt to prevent our client from returning to his work with the Prime Minister will not succeed. It's hard to believe that the police have gone as far as the Military Justice Law and dug up an old gossip article. On Wednesday we will go to court and show how absurd these claims are."
