President Isaac Herzog addressed the attack at Ramot Junction in Jerusalem where five people were killed, saying: "A painful and difficult morning. Innocent civilians, children and adults, were coldly murdered and wounded on a bus in the city streets by terrorist wrongdoers. The shocking attack reminds us again that we are fighting absolute evil. The world must understand what we are facing and must internalize that terrorism will never defeat us and will not achieve its goals. My heart is with the bereaved families with condolences and tearful embraces. I pray for the recovery of those wounded in body and spirit."
