Anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian demonstrations are taking place in 75 cities across Italy. The main protests are being held in Rome, Milan, Genoa, Naples, Palermo and Turin. Tens of thousands of people are marching in the streets with signs calling for the liberation of Palestine, against "terrorist Israel" and in support of participants in the flotilla to Gaza Strip. Due to the demonstrations, public transportation is completely paralyzed in most cities, maritime ports are shut down and significant traffic jams have been reported.
