Culture Minister Miki Zohar was questioned by police as part of the Histadrut corruption case ("One Hand Washes the Other"). Police stated: "The National Unit for Fraud Investigations (Lahav 433) summoned a sitting minister for questioning at Lahav today as part of the Histadrut case investigation, and he is now providing his version of events." Minister Zohar said: "I came this morning to answer all questions and refute all allegations that may be raised. Any attempt to link me to what is called 'the Histadrut affair,' in which hundreds of witnesses have been questioned, will not succeed and of course I have no connection to the matter."
