Ghislaine Maxwell, former partner of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who in 2022 began serving a 20-year prison sentence for trafficking girls for sexual purposes, has been transferred from a federal prison in Florida to a minimum-security federal detention facility in Texas. Maxwell's attorney confirmed this without elaborating on the reasons. The move came about a week after she was questioned about the "Epstein case" by U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who previously served as attorney for President Donald Trump, and amid reports that she might testify in exchange for sentence reductions.
