Defense Minister Israel Katz has decided to close the IDF Radio station, and all its broadcasts will cease by March 1, 2026. The Galgalatz radio station will continue to operate. Minister Katz said that "this is a necessary measure to preserve the state character of the IDF and strengthen public trust in it." He will submit the proposal for government approval according to the established procedure.
