Prosecution demands harsher sentence for Ashkelon resident who committed indecent act with 13-year-old girl

|
The prosecution filed an appeal with the Beersheba District Court over the lenient sentence of Moshe Sandrousi, approximately 60 years old from Ashkelon, who was convicted of committing an indecent act with a minor approximately 13.5 years old and sentenced to nine months of community service. The appeal notice stated that Sandrousi committed the acts while violating basic trust, given the age gap and exploiting the minor's innocence and her acquaintance with him and his daughters. It was also noted that the acts significantly harmed her well-being, physical integrity, dignity and health. According to the prosecution, the sentence handed down does not reflect the severity of the acts and should be significantly increased.
