The Health Ministry is investigating a report by a single mother that there is no genetic match between her two children and the sperm donor she selected in a procedure she underwent at Assuta Ramat Hahayal. A genetic test conducted privately at a laboratory abroad raised concerns that the sperm donor from whom the children of a woman treated at the center were born does not match genetically. Upon receiving the report, the Health Ministry began examining the details of the case, including the test that was conducted and the laboratory where it was performed. At the same time, the case is being professionally reviewed with Assuta Medical Centers.
