Defense Minister Israel Katz visited the Southern Command, together with IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, where he was presented with details of the operational plans for taking control of Gaza City and creating conditions to end the war. The Defense Minister received a comprehensive briefing from Southern Command Chief, Major General Yaniv Assor, and additional briefings from Deputy Commander of the Southern Command, Major General (Res.) Yossi Bachar and other commanders, and praised the IDF's preparations for the operation in both operational and civilian aspects.
