Edelstein: coronavirus data encouraging, but there are many cases despite lockdown

Health Minister Yuli Edelstein commented on the latest coronavirus data released by the ministry Wednesday morning, showing a 5.4% national infection rate, the lowest since July.
"The data is encouraging and we do see a decline in cases," he said. "However," he added, "we have seen on Tuesday and Monday over 3,000 new cases despite the lockdown."
