Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday noted that there is a global race to procure a vaccine for the coronavirus, saying that he is "working day and night" to get it for Israel.
According to him, Israel is working through three avenues to get this vaccine: self-production by the Israel Institute for Biological Research, talks between the Health Ministry and pharmaceutical companies and direct talks with global leaders.
