5,238 new coronavirus cases, record breaking number on ventilators

The Health Ministry on Friday said that the last 24 hours saw 5,238 new cases of COVID-19 with a record breaking 153 patients, 10 more than the previous day, on ventilators, out of the 577 described as seriously ill.
Thus far, 1,169 people have died from coronavirus.
