Gantz: Netanyahu tapped me for defense minister 18 months ago

Blue & White leader Benny Gantz said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had offered him the position of defense minister 18 months ago if he would agree to drop out of the race for premier and join the Likud party.
"You who valued my work as military chief now spreads lies about me," Gantz said in a public statement directed at the prime minister.
