Health Ministry reports 1,496 new coronavirus cases

The Health Ministry reported Thursday morning that 1,496 new coronavirus cases have been diagnosed the previous day.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic has risen to 6,062.
Out of 24,003 active patients, 579 are in serious condition, with 196 connected to ventilators.
