Islamic Jihad takes responsibility for renewed rocket fire

|
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) said Monday evening it is responsible for a barrage of rockets fired at southern Israel as a response to an Israeli airstrike on its infrastructure, shortly after the terror group announced it had completed its military response to border clashes in the Gaza town of Khan Yunis and an Israeli attack on PIJ personnel in Damascus, Syria.
"We've announced the completion of our military response to the assassination in Khan Yunis and Damascus, but Israel did not commit to it and bombed our positions and fighters," said the terror group. "We responded to emphasize our "tit-for-tat" policy. We hereby inform Israel - don't test us, we set the policy and your threats will not scare us."
