The IDF identified three separate attempts to damage the fence on the Israel-Lebanon border on Friday but said there was no infiltration into Israeli territory. The incident took place two days after a reported attack on a vehicle carrying Hezbollah fighters traveling in Syria that was attributed to Israel.
The damage on the fence appeared to be deliberate. " The IDF holds the Lebanese government responsible for actions emanating from its territory," the military said in a statement.
