Finance minister opposes Netanyahu on more virus stipends

Ynet|
Finance Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday that he does not think an additional sum of money should be handed out to civilians after the current plan to allot stipends is completed.
The minister responded to reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intended to deliver an additional amount of cash to Israelis before the high holidays in September.
"I know of no such plan and would oppose it," the minister said.
