Several Border Patrol troops were attacked Friday morning east to Jerusalem as unknown assailants hurled several Molotov cocktails at their armored vehicle.
The vehicle was completely burned but no injuries were reported among the soldiers.
Firefighting teams arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire.
"The soldiers acted quickly and extracted the operational equipment from the vehicle," said a Border Patrol spokesperson. "The activity in the sector will be significantly expanded until the perpetrators are arrested."
