Chief Justice Esther Hayut says the High Court must decide whether it should even debate a petition over the suitability of an indicted lawmaker to form a government.
Hayut was speaking at the start of a three-panel debate on the issue, following a petition against giving the mandate to form the next government to Benjamin Netanyahu, who is charged with fraud, bribery and breach of trust.
