Direct express train line between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv inaugurated

Eleven years after the target date was set, the express train line of the train between Jerusalem to Tel Aviv was inaugurated on Wednesday by the Minister of Transport, Bezalel Smutrich.
The line will arrive in 28 minutes from Jerusalem's Yitzhak Navon Station to the Tel Aviv's Hagana Station.
Smutrich invited his predecessor to the event, Foreign Minister Israel Katz, who opened the line between Jerusalem and Ben Gurion Airport in September last year.
The train will begin operations for passengers in four days.
