A boy who has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus attended a soccer match at Tel Aviv's Bloomfield Stadium before being diagnosed, The Health Ministry reported on Wednesday.
The match in question is the Tel Aviv Derby between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv that took place on February 24. The boy reportedly sat in the stadium's gate 8.
The Health Ministry instructed thousands of fans who were in attendance at the match to enter a 14-day home quarantine.
