Knesset's Finance Committee passed on Monday a bill that will push off the deadline to pass a state budget, likely averting the immediate threat of new elections.
The panel advanced the measure for a second and third reading in the plenum after an all-night session.
If it passes its two Knesset readings, as expected, it will push off Monday night’s budget deadline by 120 days.
