According to data released Sunday by Israel's Employment Services, there are currently 980,370 unemployed Israelis with 628,344 of them having been furloughed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Just over 5,000 more people lost their jobs in the past day with over a 250,000 joining the ranks of the unemployed since the beginning of September.
