The Finance Ministry projected that Israel's unemployment rate will stand at approximately 6.5% by the end of the year, or about 260,000 unemployed, compared to 745,000 Israelis currently out of a job.
The ministry added in case the economy shows a slower recovery from the pandemic than expected, the unemployment rate is projected to stand at 9.5% by the end of the year, or almost 380,000 unemployed.
