The Jordanian Foreign Ministry said in the wake of the violence in Jerusalem that "the ministry is in a daily struggle with the Israeli authorities to stop the violations. Jordan warned Israel against continuing the violent violations and demanded that it stop them in accordance with international law."
"We have passed our protest to the Israeli authorities about what is happening in the holy compound (Temple Mount), especially in the last two nights."
