Coronavirus czar wants ban on Purim parties

|
A new plan by coronavirus czar Prof. Nachman Ash calls for a ban on parties during the Purim holiday that falls at the end of the month.
The plan also calls for Purim gatherings to be restricted to nuclear families only and for prayers to take place in isolation capsules of up to 10 people with no more than 100 people worshipping in the same location.
The Galilee gravesite of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, a popular Purim pilgrimage site, would also be closed during the holiday.
