The Egyptian government is pushing Israel and Hamas to agree to a five-year cease-fire deal in Gaza, Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds says, citing Palestinian officials.
Senior members of Islamic Jihad and the Hamas military wing and Islamic Jihad traveled to Egyptian capital earlier this week for negotiations over a possible agreement.
