Dr. Boaz Lev, the head of the Health Ministry's epidemic unit, told Ynet on Wednesday that he was worried about a potential coronavirus outbreak in the predominantly ultra-Orthodox city of Bnei Brak.
"I am very concerned about the large number of residents there," said Dr. Lev, "it is like wildfire because of the population density. I know this does not have an immediate solution."
He added, "the high rate [of infection in Bnei Brak] has surprised us, and the more people we test and the more in infected we find ... which will result in a further burden on our health care system."
