Israel's coronavirus czar Prof. Ronni Gamzu slammed senior ultra-Orthodox rabbi Chaim Kanievsky for comments he made, calling on students of religious institutions across the country to not get tested for the pathogen.
"Rabbi Kanievsky's statements are in dangering the ultra-Orthodox community. Without increasing enforcement and encouraging testing, we will be required to make complex decisions that may amount to imposing a nationwide lockdown."
