President Reuven Rivlin spoke on Wednesday with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on the coronavirus crisis and its impact on the region, saying that cooperation between Israel and the Palestinians is necessary to combat the virus.
"The entire world is facing a crisis that does not discriminate between people," Rivlin said. "Our cooperation is essential for ensuring the health of both Israelis and Palestinians."
