Ministry of Health Director-General Moshe Bar-Siman-Tov said Tuesday that the number of coronavirus patients in Israel is expected to rise significantly in the coming days.
"There may be hundreds of new patients a day, and eventually people will die from the disease, unfortunately, many thousands may die," he said.
He said, "If we keep in line with directives, we will flatten the curve [of the spread] and reach and care for every patient."
